An anorak-wearing college professor who wants to find a publisher for his as-yet-unwritten book has his life go awry when he starts appearing in the dreams of thousands of people.

The lead actor embodies a full range of emotions to deliver a superlative performance in his transition from Mr. Nobody, to everyday dad, to psycho-killer. The premise is intriguing, exploring the phenomena of going viral and subsequently being cancelled, and there's a lot of social commentary packed into the runtime. "Dream Scenario" delivers on the promise of its title, the dream sequences are surreal and extraordinary. If only the storyline hadn't nodded off before the credits. Dream on.
