Strays

A dog abandoned on the city streets with only a cravat and a tennis ball teams up with other strays to try and find his way home.

"Strays" is a crass production featuring dogs trained to hump on command. The stars are real dogs who can talk with the help of CGI, a cinematic device that is well executed. The problem, though, is not how the talking is done but rather with what is said. The dialogue is crude and coarse, which smacks of laziness by the writers... the cast might as well bark for all the difference it would make. The vulgar tone is relentless, culminating in a scene befitting a porn effort. One to give you paws.
