Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

Black Manta once again tries to defeat Aquaman - this time with the help of an ancient evil trident.

"Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom" is a jumbled mess. The narrative is disjointed, with odd pops of humour that come completely out of left field and a lead character who has become unlikeable since the previous instalment. There are some bizarre references to other brands in the dialogue, the soundtrack makes odd choices that don't fit the narrative and we don't even see the titular location until the last quarter of the film. A charming cephalopod named Topo is really the only good thing about this film. Gurgle gurgle.
