Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Shaun is making ends meet in San Francisco when his life is turned upside down as agents of the Ten Rings organisation come after him and force him to confront his past.

"Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" is an entertaining origin story. Packed full of eye-catching and impeccably choreographed fight sequences, this film is a visual treat. Pops of humour sprinkled throughout are a good way of breaking up the backstory of our leading man as he comes to terms with who he is and the weight of his responsibilities. The placement of some flashback sequences lead to some pacing issues in the middle section, but overall this is an exciting adventure and a welcome addition to a growing cinematic universe.
