Years after the Sky People fled Pandora, Jake Sully and his family are again under threat as an old foe is out to get them.

"Avatar: The Way of Water" is a long-winded, yet visually stunning adventure. The beautiful colours and sweeping vistas of this CGI-created world are awe-inspiring, but this production is sorely let down by soggy dialogue and a regurgitated plot. The main characters make odd decisions, particularly during the final act, and the same old enemies remain at play; the only difference is now they have fancier gear and are fighting in a new area of the planet.
