Tammy Faye was a television evangelist who harnessed her flamboyant style to sing the Lord's praise and cash in on Christ with her husband Jim Bakker in the 70s & 80s.

"The Eyes of Tammy Faye" is light fare, barely scratching the surface of the life of a woman best remembered for her exaggerated lashes. This is a story of the good, the bad and the downright ugly, interesting even though we don't get to experience much of the person underneath the mask. Some empathy is evoked for her good heart, while her ravenous appetite for furs and luxury is largely unexplored. A fraud for the Lord.
