Martha: A Picture Story

A portrait of Martha Cooper, a photographer who became enthralled by graffiti in New York in the 1970s, when there was little appreciation for the art form or the artists.

This is a documentary that is is as energetic as the street art movement it follows. A woman ahead of her time by virtue of her gender and her interests, the film makes a case for doing what you love until being loved (and revered) for it.
