With the help of a teenager who can travel between multiverses, Doctor Strange battles multiple threats.

"Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness" is a restrained action-adventure. Although this instalment in the cinematic universe is named after our titular persona, he's overshadowed by almost every other character in this film. While the cast does an impressive job, the story requires a lot of prior knowledge to be able to truly appreciate it, and there's a distinct lack of the mind-bending, psychedelic visuals that made up the first film in this franchise. Call the doctor.
