"The Northman" is a murderous tale of revenge. The epitome of grimdark, this production is filled to the brim with gritty, bloody battles as we follow our main character while he unravels the threads of his fate. Although our leading man is a standout, the entire cast is fantastic, delivering the almost Shakspearian dialogue with such grace it seems effortless. The cinematography is stunning to behold and the heavy use of symbolism plus many cunning stylistic choices have combined to create something truly magical. I will avenge you father.
