Saori is convinced something's up with her primary school son Minato and suspects his teacher, Mr. Hori is to blame.

There are many twists in this tale which is told and then retold from three perspectives. Different and interesting details are revealed to influence the audience and the basis of their conclusions and provide insight into the characters' various emotional burdens. Everybody has a truth, but none has the whole truth. "Monster" is melancholic, moody, and slow. The strength of the production is also its downfall as there's plenty of ambiguity in the multifaceted telling of the tale, but the pacing drags while hoping for resolution. Monster mash.
