Downton Abbey: A New Era

The Crawley family travel to the South of France to uncover the mystery of the Dowager Countess' inherited villa, while a film crew shoots a movie at Downton.

It's apparent that this movie has its origins as a TV series. On the big screen, there are too many characters to work out who is who if you're not already familiar with the household. "Downton Abbey: A New Era" also attempts to cover too many storylines without doing justice to any. Fans will find this effort warm and familiar, the delightful costumes alone warrant the price of a ticket. The olden days.
