Zola and her new friend Stephanie go on a road trip to Florida where chaos ensues.

"Zola" is an intriguing production based on a Twitter thread. The entire cast do an excellent job, with each actor disappearing into their character to bring this tale to life. The pacing is a little janky, with the build-up taking just a little too long to get to the bizarre plot twists and turns. Stylistically, this film perfectly captures the point in time that it's supposed to represent, and while the plot is likely to be heavily embellished, it's nevertheless a fascinating story to watch unfold. Period.
