We don't tend to watch biographies to learn the ending, we watch despite the ending. This awesome performer's story is compelling to watch, complete with an ultimately tragic and well-known outcome. The pace drags a little, this is a long doco, ameliorated by the honesty in how she is remembered by people close to her. That plus it's good to be reminded of somebody who at one time just wanted to dance with somebody, somebody who loved her. Short clips of performance footage provide some of the best viewings. Bittersweet memories.
