Vice

The story of Dick Cheney's rise from congressman to right-hand man and puppet master to George W. Bush.

"Vice" is a politically charged film where the characters are so slimy, the ooze drips off the screen. Admittedly this isn't a very interesting subject, but it's told in a very engaging albeit one-sided way. The director sets out to blame a large number of the world's problems on this man, and successfully does so in his representation of the life of this very private politician. The lead delivers a serviceable performance, but it's difficult not to oversee the prosthetics and makeup at play. Slippery Dick.
