A glimpse into Brazilian financial corruption and scandal glimpsed through one household's family and staff; and their changing fortunes across three summers.

"Three Summers" is a social drama that orbits a housekeeper who tries to keep on top of all that's happening around her. Unfortunately, without knowing the background and geography of the scandal it's all based on, much of the parody is lost. Despite a lack of focus, the story isn't without small triumphs for the working class. The overall feel is one of amusement, and much of the entertainment is provided by slightly absurd moments. No carnival.
