Four years in the life of Oslo woman Julie, as she tries to find a career path and settle into a long-term relationship.

To consider "The Worst Person in the World" as a coming-of-age story, which it is, in its essence, we first need to forgive the protagonist for searching for her place at 30 years old. Coming to terms with oneself is character growth rarely witnessed, it's not easy to bring that type of interiority to a movie. Importantly, her situation is presented with charm, while humorous touches are entwined with honest and intimate moments to ensure empathy for her choices. Second worst.
