The Secret Life of Pets 2

The pets reassemble for fun and adventure; they look after a squeaky toy and free a tiger cub from the circus.

All that was vibrant and fluffy about the first instalment is replicated in "The Secret Life of Pets 2". It's fun and familiar proving that you can't teach an old dog... and there are some plot issues with story threads variously set in a circus, a farm, and the city. The term 'a dog's breakfast' comes to mind as the action switches from one storyline to another. Young audience members may not last the movie-length distance before becoming distracted. Such is life.
