The Predator

A misfit band of former soldiers are forced to take on the predators after their return to Earth.

"The Predator" is clearly a homage to the classic instalment of this franchise, peppered with self-referential humour and bloody, 80s style fun. It captures the spirit of a bygone era; sure to entertain those prepared to excuse the flimsy, nonsensical plot and just go along for the ride. Although let down by a severely underwhelming final act, it's redeemed by excessive dismemberment and a surprising abundance of laugh-out-loud moments. Come for the slaughter, stay for the comedy, get to the chopper.
