Set in the early 1970s, "The Washington Post" is faced with a big decision regarding the leak of classified documents.

"The Post" harks to an era where the spread of information was remarkably slow, but a journalists' duty to the people gave impetus to the news. Unfolding in a series of backroom meetings and rotary phone conversations, the dependable cast do an exemplary job at maintaining the tension and drama in a rudimentary environment. While the mechanics of a newspaper assembly line are mesmerising to watch, the film relies on its subject matter to captivate its audience; and doesn't disappoint in delivering this historic whistleblower moment. A virtuous publication.
