In a bid to save up money and attend the college of his dreams, Brooks Rattigan creates an app that lets people pay him to play the perfect chaperone for any occasion.

"The Perfect Date" is a light and fluffy romantic comedy that breaks no new ground. This film shines most when our leading man occupies the screen on his own. His comedic timing is spot on, and he is both convincing and adorable as he stumbles his way through all of the life lessons he must learn in order to reach his happy ending. Unfortunately, the leading lady has a serious deficiency in the charisma department which renders their chemistry awkward and hard to believe, letting the entire premise down. Practice makes perfect.
