The Mountain Between Us

After a plane crash, two strangers become stranded on the side of a mountain.

At first glance, "The Mountain Between Us" appears like one of those survival stories 'based on true events', but this fiction is far less gritty and life-affirming than you might expect. Any feelings of threat or danger are quickly staved off by Hollywood convention; rations and broken limbs are a minor hindrance, and the presence of dog companion only reaffirms the snug environment of the two leads. Thankfully, their characters are likeable enough to endure a journey through picturesque snow-capped mountains and a bottling romance. Safe travels.
