The Meg

Action Horror

A giant prehistoric shark ventures into new territory, threatening the lives of many.

"The Meg" is a highly scientific representation of human stupidity. As light-hearted as a film about a giant shark eating people can be, this production is self-aware enough to revel in its own ridiculousness and pokes fun at itself at every turn. The cast of charming characters are entertaining, the dialogue is surprisingly witty, and the pacing is so on point it's almost enough to distract you from the megalodon-sized plot holes. So bad it's good, this movie is sure to be either the best or worst thing you have ever seen. Shark bait.
