A couple going through a rough patch in their relationship find themselves embroiled in a murder mystery.
"The Lovebirds" is supposed to be a romantic comedy but there's nothing remotely close to romance or humour in this film. The leading couple has absolutely no chemistry and there's a stiffness to the delivery of every line that makes it very obvious that you're watching two actors trying very hard to convince you that they're supposed to be together. The plot is beyond ludicrous and overall this is a bland, forgettable experience. No love for these birds.
