The Last Duel
Action Drama History
When his wife is assaulted, Knight Jean de Carrouges takes the matter to the King and is granted permission to duel.
"The Last Duel" is a bloated, pretentious pile of garbage. This tone-deaf production is overly long, overly dramatic and filled with dialogue so badly written you'll wonder how the script ever got greenlit. The entire cast seems to lack interest, conviction and direction as they deliver wooden performances scene after scene. Instead of being the focal point of the story, the victim and the crime committed against her are relegated to being mere set pieces as we focus on the fragile egos of vain men. Do not be silent.
