The Irishman

A mob hitman recounts his life's adventures and misdeeds.

"The Irishman" has a story to tell. Unfortunately, it's hard to care about what's going on when the film exhibits a flagrant disregard for its audience and their time. The meandering narrative has more troughs than peaks, and there isn't really much happening during the disgustingly bloated running time. The performances are the only saving grace in this self-indulgent production and even they aren't enough to stop our patience being tested. Swim with the fishes.
