Oscar Wilde, shunned by society after his jail term, lives out his last days in Europe penniless with contact from only a few friends.

This is the imagined story of Wilde during his final days, and it tells a lot of the story of the man beyond the wit and works he is remembered for. Flashbacks and memories are used to piece together the past and explain his reduced circumstances.
