The Flip Side

A UK based actor returns to Adelaide and tries to reconnect with the lover he left behind five years earlier.

Here is a rom-com that's light on rom and largely minus the com, leaving us with a flat and weightless offering. "The Flip Side" is set in a beautiful city, and inexplicably this positive aspect is derided in an unnecessary joke that doesn't work. Get the picture? There's little else to mention about this bland offering that fails to engage, except perhaps for the crocheted blanket belonging to a character in aged care that is rather lovely. Flipped out.
