The Equalizer 2

Robert McCall is drawn back into the world he thought he left behind as he fights to find his best friends killer.

"The Equalizer 2" is a subtle, slow burner of a film. There are pops of outrageously gory action here, but not enough that you could really classify this as an action movie. The entire production feels like it's walking through quicksand, with a lot of pointless silence, pondering and longing looks out of windows for extended periods of time. There are some obvious audio recording and mixing issues that weren't able to be fixed in post-production and while entertaining overall, this just doesn't shine like it should. Equa-snoozer.
