Oliver Hardy and Stanley Laurel team up and travel to the UK for one last theatrical tour, and try to and raise studio interest in producing another film.

"Stan and Ollie" is a serious and heartfelt movie about a working partnership, and friendship, which endured over decades. A stroke of casting genius pairs two accomplished actors who perfectly embody the comedy duo central to the film. There are plenty of comedic moments with routines drawn from the original act, which, although dated, still elicits laughter when reenacted on the screen.
