Spider-Man: Far from Home

Comic Action Adventure

Wanting a quiet European holiday with his friends, Peter Parker reluctantly agrees to help stop a catastrophic event.

"Spiderman: Far from Home" swings effortlessly between awkward teenage romance and CGI blockbuster, making for a thoroughly enjoyable trip. While this instalment may not soar as high as previous films in its shared universe it certainly stands out; venturing down a rabbit hole of illusionary twists and turns, providing commentary on the deceptiveness of blockbusters themselves. The impressive and illusory spectacles make this movie a slinging-good-time, but it's the characters and the heart of their narrative that truly hits home. The superhero genre is far from fatigued.
