Sisu

A former soldier attempts to start a new life when he runs into a Nazi death squad.

Sisu is a gory bloodbath. The film is carried by a magnetic leading man who takes a less talk, more action approach to the way he handles the obstacles in his path. The dichotomy of a gorgeous landscape against the ridiculous amount of violence, blood and gore packed into the short run time is both masterful and eye-opening. It's easy to forgive 'jump the shark' moments introduced during the back end of the production, purely because they're just so entertaining to watch. Solid gold.
