If "Shoplifters" steals anything, it's your heart. This is an extraordinary film from somewhere under the radar of regular cinema; about a family who lives within, but apart from, regular society. Even with subtitles and a measured pace, it's not easy to precisely unravel all of the relationships, not that it's necessary. Suffice to say, a family of choice is a different experience to a family of origin; this an irresistible story about love stronger than bloodlines. Put it in your pocket.
