Drama

A high-school girl wakes up on her front lawn with no memory of how she got there until video clips start appearing on social media.

"Share" explores an important issue but without the impact of being a 'lesson'. Many of the scenes are muted and shot in a darkened setting, amongst them a therapist's office, where people speak in mostly constrained tones. The girl is reduced to a fragile shell of who she was but the film lacks some humanity in that regard, almost shrugging off the implicit unfairness of her situation. Perhaps that's close to reality, a study in suffering injustice. Sharing without caring.
