Pick of the Litter

A documentary following five labrador puppies, from whelping through training and ultimately, for the special few, to graduation as a guide-dog for a vision impaired person.

It's sometimes said that there is nothing better than an old dog, which is only true until you see a puppy. "Pick of the Litter" will remind you that the reality is that there's nothing better than a young dog. The non-canine subjects of this documentary confirm the sentiment by frequently planting kisses on the closest snout. Smooches aside, the journey of the pups is absorbing and their stories pack plenty of emotional punch. Workin' like a dog.
