My Generation

Documentary

A documentary narrated by Michael Caine about London in the 60s as pop culture was emerging and all sorts of people, even an avant-guard hairdresser, became famous.

"My Generation" has an upbeat pop vibe as befits the era we fondly recall as the 'swinging sixties'. It bops along as the scope is wide, so much was emerging that hadn't been experienced before. Recalled via glimpses into the narrator's early life as an actor gives an interesting lens through which to view the period. This is fun, interesting, pop-corn viewing and delicious to eat up, easily digested but nothing to dwell on. Ready for next gen.
