"Miss Sloane" is an introspective character study of a manipulative fiend. The lobbyist's quick-wit and cunning in the questionable field of politics certainly makes for entertaining viewing. The large ensemble cast are reduced to pawns around her, only to feed the twists and contrivances orchestrated by the titular workaholic. The anti-hero at the centre of this story puts in a formidable performance, the clear winner in an otherwise bloated campaign. Misdemeanours.
