Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears

Drama

It's the 1920s and Phryne Fisher is drawn into the history and mystery that surrounds Shirrin Abbas and the disappearance of her desert tribe.

Our formidable protagonist is eager for adventure, and the production is paced with plenty of derring-do. She doesn't look for danger, but the unexpected seems to find her regardless, and audiences will be delighted by her exploits. She's fearless, and we can't help but be drawn in by her redoubtable nature and sense of humour. Part of the allure of "Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears" is the way the characters are playfully self-aware of their situations. No boo-hoo-hoos.
