A Louis Theroux documentary that investigates the inner workings of the Church of Scientology.

A version of the bait and switch approach famously used by the church is employed in various guises to try and get closer to the cultish outfit where members sign billion year contracts. Who is pursing whom with much time spent observing a camera operator from the church filming a camera operator from the production crew and vice versa. The documentary front guy is known for tackling eccentric topics with zeal and a convincing naivety, he does not disappoint and it's all oddly entertaining. Baring Hubbard's cupboard.
