Comedy Fantasy

A despicable boss wakes up one morning as her younger self.

There's nothing new to the premise of "Little". Early on, the narrative is a trudge, and the jokes fall a little flat as it goes through the arduous and predictable mantra of 'terrible adult must learn to be nice to people'. The patchy, uneven plot can be forgiven in parts thanks to the performance of the talented, comedic cast; and it's only when the fringe characters get more screen time that the film finally hits its straps, poking fun at the scenario in very amusing ways. A little heart, a little laughter.
