Like a Boss

Mia and Mel have been best friends since school, but the bond is tested when someone wants to buy their business.

This looks like a job for the HR department. "Like a Boss" has an obvious problem related to recruitment. It's a sorry testament to what can happen if you're making a womance with a mostly male production team. Funny and relatable actors are given little to work with and find themselves cast as caricatures rather than authentic characters. They don't manage to overcome that handicap; despite their best efforts, the lead actors are reduced to lipstick-wearing stereotypes. In need of a makeover.
