Let the Sunshine In

A French artist is searching for a man she can love, one who will love her in return and make them a couple.

There is a feminist slogan that says "a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle". That stance seems to be disputed in "Let the Sunshine In", which portrays one woman's determined campaign to find a long-term lover. The artist meets a string of more and less repugnant men, all of them pretty humourless, and there's nothing to say about the boorish fortuneteller she consults. All in all, this is a decidedly inconsequential movie. Slip, slop, slap.
