Justice League

Batman assembles a team of superheroes to prepare for a looming threat to the world.

"Justice League" enters the DC franchise with a light touch, creating snappy dialogue and a playful set of characters that provide welcome entertainment. Less impressive is a plot that simply rehashes elements from other films, along with some of the sloppiest CGI action sequences to have seared your eyes. Apart from the Flash, who clearly stole most of the visual effects budget, the rest looks amateur and lacks the physicality to impart any threat or suspense. Despite the aesthetics, there's still fun in witnessing a very expensive production. No justice for all.
