Every single cliché that you know and love (or hate) about the genre is present, but our unconventional leading lady flips the script and does her best to subvert our expectations at every turn. This film is fast-paced, filled with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments and the chemistry of the cast is infectious. Together with the smattering of musical numbers, it ties everything together nicely for the perfect happy ending. Beguiling.
