Thanks to clever writing and down to earth actors, "How to Please a Woman" is serious about women's sexual pleasure and fulfilment. Given the content and the title, this effort could have been smutty and high-school-hilarious, instead, it is sensitive and respectful, recognising the vulnerability of talking about one's intimate desires. The movie beguiles and charms with complex themes and upended gender expectations, affably delivered with a stunning beachside setting. Better than the Discovery Channel.
