"High-Rise" is the bizarre story of what happens when life in your luxury apartment block goes off the rails. This film is pretentious and gives very little away to the viewer at any point. What could have been a wonderfully strange depiction of the fragility of human nature and our capability to turn into savages at the drop of a hat ends up as a disjointed pile of garbage that makes no sense. The higher the rise, the harder the fall.
