Set in a contemporary post-covid world, "Glass Onion" is a fresh whodunnit where Detective Blanc takes the spotlight. We're in the company of the mega-rich, and naturally, money drives the majority of conversation and motives. While there are plot twists aplenty, this film doesn't quite unravel in the same clever manner as the original installment, but the colourful characters and luxurious setting still generate a lot of fun. Onions have layers.
