This production starts off as a cordial affair but soon becomes a deep dive into the history of the man behind the mayhem, and the more we discover about him, the more outrageous the things he did seem to be. Our villain is placid, remorseless and watching him lie time and again is infuriating, but it's also easy to see why so many people fell for his charms. Burn baby, burn.
