War History Action

In World War II, the Allied forces have been cornered to Dunkirk beach by the German army and forced to evacuate.

From the very outset, "Dunkirk" dumps you on the beach, taking you on a perilous campaign of inescapable action and survival. Stunning, richly detailed panoramas brilliantly capture the scale and landscape of the battle through an aerial lens rarely seen in cinema. On the ground, the story unfolds in a series of desperate moments, enhanced by a loud, looming score and cacophony of stray bullets and overhead bombers. It paints a very neat picture of war, but only a semblance of characterisation, context and gravity. Man overboard.
