Diana's Wedding

A Norwegian couple, with a baby named Diana, marry on the same day as Lady Diana Spencer and live more or less happily for a couple of decades.

"Diana's Wedding" is a pleasant domestic comedy, cleverly conceived and well-executed. Trying to fathom the workings of a marriage is no simple task, even the union of your parents or the next-doors, both of which the camera settles on. Glimpses of the royal couple serve to highlight the impenetrability of another's relationship, an interesting device. Seen through their daughter's eyes, this is a gently comedic portrait of a most quarrelsome/loving couple who are the best/worst parents. Bride and true.
