Cats

A tribe of cats attend the Jellicle ball where one will be chosen by Old Deuteronomy to ascend to the Heaviside layer.

"Cats" is a confusing, magical mess. Any appreciation for the daring choreography and triumphant musical numbers is completely lost in the fuzzy CGI. The human/feline blend simply doesn't work, and is so disturbing and distracting that it makes the already baffling story even more perplexing. A stellar cast give their all, but their theatrics look amateur amongst the litter of crude and unfinished visuals. Dog's breakfast.
